5 to 7 cucumbers
1 container sour cream
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
garlic powder (optional)
Peel and thinly sliced cucumbers into a plastic colander. Shake a
thin layer of salt over the top of the cucumbers; allow to sit at
room temperature for 4 hours. After the 4 hours, using hands, firmly
squeeze remaining juice out of cucumbers. Place in a serving dish of
your choice. Stir in sour cream (just enough to make it creamy).
Sprinkle lightly with black pepper and serve.
Optional: Add a light dusting of garlic powder, if desired, for
