1 lb. smoke sausage
1 onion, sliced
4 c. cabbage, chopped
4 medium potatoes, cut
4 carrots, cut
1 can French-cut green beans, drained
salt and pepper to taste
2 c. water
In a large pot, layer in this order: smoked sausage, potatoes,
carrots, onion, green beans, cabbage, salt, pepper and water. Bring
to quick boil. Lower temperature and simmer 30 to 40 minutes.
