2 New York strip steaks (1 1/2-inches thick; about 14 to 16 oz. each)

The thickness is more important than the weight.

1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. coarse ground mustard
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
1 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 tsp. pepper

Mix together marinade ingredients; pour over defrosted steaks.
Marinate 4 hours or overnight in fridge. Remove the steaks from the
refrigerator about 30 to 40 minutes before cooking. Place on the
grill. Cook to your liking: done, rare, medium-rare or mooing.
