1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. self-rising cornmeal
2 eggs
1/4 shortening
1 1/4 c. milk

Mix shortening and dry ingredients well. Beat eggs and 1/2 cup milk;
add to dry mixture. When lumps are gone, slowly add remaining milk.
Pour in greased muffin pans. Cook at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
