GRANNY TRAPP'S FRESH APPLE CAKE

2 c. self-rising flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. diced apples
1 c. pecans, chopped
2 slightly beaten eggs
1 c. oil
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients together. Batter will be very thick. Bake at
350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool before icing cake.

Icing:
2 c. confectioners sugar
1 stick butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
6 to 8 oz. cream cheese, softened

Whip together. Spread on cooled cake.
