1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. plain flour
2 Tbsp. cocoa
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1 whole egg
2 egg yolks (beat well)
1 c. whole milk
Mix sugar, flour and cocoa. Melt butter in skillet on low heat.
Stir in sugar, flour and cocoa mixture. Combine milk, egg mixture
and remaining ingredients; stir until mix thickens. Add vanilla; mix
well. Pour custard into baked pie shell. Cover with meringue made
with 2 egg whites and 1/4 cup sugar, beaten stiff. Brown in 325 degrees
oven; watch carefully so meringue does not burn.
