20 oz. can crushed pineapple (undrained) 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 2 c. all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. nuts 1/2 c. brown sugar Mix together pineapple, sugar, eggs, flour, baking soda, salt and nuts. Pour into greased 13 x 9 pan. Sprinkle brown sugar over top of cake mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Topping: 3/4 c. evaporated milk 1 c. sugar 3/4 c. butter 1 tsp. vanilla Mix together. Bring to hard boil. Pour over cake while hot.
