APPLE DUMPLINGS

2 Granny Smith apples
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 count) can crescent rolls
1/2 stick margarine or butter
1 c. orange juice

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut apples into fourths. Separate rolls.
Wrap one apple piece in each roll section. Mix margarine/butter,
sugar and orange juice in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Remove from
heat; stir in vanilla. Pour over apples/crescent roll sections.
Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for 30 minutes, or until apples are
tender and rolls are brown.
