MICROWAVE HOMEMADE BANANA PUDDING

4 c. milk
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1/2 c. flour
1/2 stick butter
2 tsp. vanilla
3 bananas
1 box vanilla wafers
1 large Cool Whip

First, mix flour and sugar; set aside. Second, beat the yolks with
the milk; add all mixtures together. Put all mixture in a glass
bowl; add butter. Cook on High for 5 minutes until mixture is thick.
Add vanilla. Should take up to 15 minutes, depending on watts of
microwave. Stir every 5 minutes. Start off 5 minutes at a time.
Let pudding cool. I use a whisk to stir, but you can also use a hand
mixer. Add bananas and then wafers and stir. Add Whip or your
meringue.
