1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
16 c. popcorn or 2 bags Popcorn Puffs
1 c. mixed nuts (optional)
Add corn syrup, sugar, butter, salt and vanilla to a pot; bring to a
boil on medium heat, stirring constantly once mixture comes to a
boil. Remove from heat; add the baking soda. Place the popcorn or
puffs into a greased roasting pan. Pour the syrup mixture over the
popcorn, stirring to coat well. Place in oven for 1 hour at 250 degrees.
Stir popcorn mix every 15 minutes. When hour has passed, remove from
oven. Pour popcorn mix onto wax paper to cool.
