1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped
1 can cherry pie filling

Combine flour, butter, brown sugar and nuts in bowl; mix well.
Spread into 8-inch square pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool.
Crumble into 9 x 13 dish. Blend cream cheese, powdered sugar and
vanilla. Fold in whipped cream to cream cheese mixture. Spoon over
crust. Top with cherry pie filling. Freeze overnight. Remove from
freezer about 30 minutes before serving.
