4 c. Crispix cereal
4 c. Cinnamon Toast Crunch
1/2 c. light corn syrup
2 c. pecan pieces
1/2 stick margarine
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Heat oven to 250 degrees. Combine cereal and pecans in 13 x 9-inch pan.
Combine syrup, margarine and brown sugar in 2-cup bowl. Microwave on
High 1 1/2 minutes; stir. Microwave 30 seconds to 1 1/2 minutes, or
until mixture boils. Stir in vanilla and soda. Pour over cereal;
stir to coat cereal. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes. Remove
and let cool on wax paper. Break into pieces. Store in airtight
