Crust (Layer 1): 1 stick butter, softened 1 c. flour 1/4 to 1/2 c. pecans, chopped Mix together. Press into sheet cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. Cool before layer 2. Layer 2: 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened 1 c. powdered sugar 1 c. Cool Whip Mix thoroughly. Spread over cooled crust. Layer 3: 2 small pkg. instant pudding mix (whatever flavor you want) 3 c. milk Beat until thickened. Spread over cream cheese layer. Layer 4: Top layer 3 with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
