PINEAPPLE CHERRY SALAD

1 (2.8-ounce) package whipped topping mix
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (8 1/4-ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries, drained
1 tablespoon sugar

Prepare whipped topping mix according to package directions.
Whip cream cheese with electric mixer. Mix cream cheese with
whipped topping and remaining ingredients. Place in a 2-quart
casserole. Chill several hours before serving.

Yield: 6-8 servings.
