12 chicken breast halves, skinned and boned 2 (3/4-ounce) envelopes Italian dressing mix Vegetable oil or margarine 1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced 2 (3-ounce) containers cream cheese with chives 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 1 1/4 cups dry white wine 1/2 pound cooked and cleaned peeled shrimp (optional) Roll breast in Italian dressing mix. Lightly brown breasts in oil or margarine. Drain on paper towels to remove excess grease. In same pan, saute mushrooms. In a double boiler, heat cheese, soup, and wine until blended, using a wire whisk. Layer chicken, sauce, and mushrooms in 13x9-inch baking dish. Pour remaining sauce on top. Cook uncovered at 350 degrees for 1-1 1/2 hours. May add shrimp on top during last 10 minutes of cooking. Yield: 12 servings.
