1 pound sirloin steak cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
1 cup water
1/4 cup light brown sugar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
1 (5-ounce) bottle soy sauce
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 large onion, cut into quarters
1 large bell pepper, cut into quarters
12 cherry tomatoes
12 mushroom caps
Marinate meat in a mixture of brown sugar, Worcestershire
sauce, water, soy sauce, and lemon juice in the refrigerator all
day. On 4 long skewers, alternate meat, tomatoes, meat, onion,
meat, pepper, meat, and mushrooms. Grill until meat is cooked to
taste. Serve on a bed of fluffy rice.
Yield: 4 servings.
