12 ounces spaghetti 1/2 pound bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces 1 small onion, chopped 1 garlic clove, minced 1 cup half-and-half 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup whipping cream 1 large egg, lightly beaten 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 2 tablespoons chopped parsley Prepare spaghetti as on package; drain and keep warm. Cook bacon in a large skillet until crisp. Reduce heat to medium; add onions and garlic, and saute 5 minutes. Stir together half-and-half and next 5 ingredients; toss in spaghetti. Add spaghetti mixture and 1/4 cup cheese to onion mixture in skillet. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan and parsley.
