1 (9-inch) deep dish pie shell, unbaked 3 eggs 1 pint half-and-half 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 3/4 cup chopped onions 1 tablespoon melted butter 3 ounces chopped ham 3 ounces shredded Swiss cheese Pre-bake pie shell in 275 degrees oven until lightly browned. Whip eggs, half-and-half, and spices together. Saute onions in butter. Place onions in bottom of pie shell. Sprinkle ham evenly over onions; sprinkle with Swiss cheese. Pour egg mixture over all.
