1 pound fresh broccoli
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 teaspoons cider vinegar
2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
Steam broccoli spears in a steamer basket. Cover and steam 5
minutes or until crisp-tender. Stir together sugar and next three
ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring
often, until sugar dissolves and mixture is thoroughly heated.
Drizzle over broccoli and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Yield: 2-3 servings.
