1 head cauliflower flowerets or 2 (10-ounce) boxes of frozen cauliflower 1 can mushroom soup 1/4 soup can of milk 1 small can of mushrooms 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese 2 or more slices of American cheese Salt and pepper, to taste Butter Boil cauliflower until tender. Melt enough butter in 11x7-inch baking dish to cover bottom. Drain cauliflower and put on top of butter. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup of grated cheese. Pour soup over cauliflower and cheese. Add milk (do not stir). Add mushrooms. Sprinkle again with remaining cheese. Tear American cheese slices into strips and place on top. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until cheese is lightly golden. Yield: 4-6 servings.
