1 stick butter
1 medium onion, chopped
6 beef bouillon cubes
2 1/2 cups boiling water
1 cup uncooked white rice

Lightly brown onion in butter. Combine remaining ingredients.
Pour into 1 1/2-quart casserole dish, stirring to dissolve bouillon
cubes. Cover and bake until liquid is absorbed, for approximately
1 hour, at 350 degrees.

Yield: 6-8 servings.
