2 cups sugar
1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
4 cups cubed white bread
1 1/2 sticks butter, cut into pieces
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and stir. Pour into a
greased 13x9-inch baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour at
350 degrees, until lightly browned.
Yield: 8 servings.
