STRAWBERRY BREAD

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 (10-ounce) packages frozen sliced strawberries,
thawed with juice
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
4 eggs, beaten
1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
2 cups sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease two 9x5-inch loaf pans and set
aside. Sift dry ingredients. Add sugar. Make a well in center of
the dry ingredients; add the wet ingredients. Stir to moisten.
Stir in nuts, if desired. Pour into greased loaf pans. Bake 1
hour and test with toothpick. Cool in pans for about 1/2 hour.
Delicious with cream cheese.

Yield: 2 loaves.
