1 pound mild sausage 1 (8-ounce) package of cream cheese 1 package of refrigerated crescent rolls 1 small onion, chopped Brown sausage in a skillet with chopped onion. Set aside to cool. After cooling, place 1/2 of the sausage in several paper towels to get the grease off. Repeat with the other half of the mixture. Mix sausage and cream cheese together. Place crescent rolls flat on a cookie sheet and press seams together. Put sausage mixture in center of crescent rolls; fold long sides together completely covering sausage mixture and press seam together. Bake folded side down at 325 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and slice. Yield: 6-8 servings.
