MAM-MA'S CHOCOLATE RUM CAKE

1 box yellow cake mix
1 small (3.9-ounce) package instant chocolate
pudding
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 cup water
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup chocolate chips

Glaze:
1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
3/8 cup rum
1/8 cup water

Grease and flour a bundt pan. Put nuts and chips in bottom of
pan. Mix other cake ingredients and beat; pour over nuts and
chips. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. With about 10 minutes left to
bake, combine all glaze ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a
boil, stirring constantly. Boil 2 to 3 minutes. Take cake out and
pour glaze over cake. Let stand in pan for 30 minutes. Loosen
sides and remove from pan.

Yield: one bundt cake.
