1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup all-purpose flour
2/3 cup dry roasted peanuts
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 (12-ounce) container Cool Whip
1 small (3.4-ounce) package vanilla instant
1 small (3.4-ounce) package chocolate instant
2 2/3 cups milk
1 chocolate candy bar
1/3 cup chopped peanuts
Crust: Cut butter into flour until resembles coarse meal; stir
in 2/3 cup peanuts. Press into 13x9-inch baking dish and bake at
350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool.
Filling: Combine cream cheese, peanut butter, and
confectioners sugar; beat until fluffy. Stir in 1 cup Cool Whip.
Spread over crust. Chill. Combine puddings and milk and beat 2
minutes. Spread over cream cheese mixture. Ice with Cool Whip.
Sprinkle with shaved chocolate bar and 1/3 cup chopped nuts.
Yield: 16 servings.
