GOOEY BUTTER CAKE


Cake:
1 yellow cake mix
1 egg
8 tablespoons butter, melted

Filling:
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
8 tablespoons butter, melted
1 (16-ounce) box confectioners sugar

Crust: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine cake mix, egg and stick
of melted butter. Pat into a lightly greased 13x9-inch baking
dish.

Filling: Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs and
vanilla. Add butter and beat. Add confectioners sugar and mix
well. Spread over cake mixture crust. Bake at 40-50 minutes. You
want the center to be a little gooey, so do not overbake.

Yield: 15-20 servings.
