1 cup sugar
10 cups water
1 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup Grenadine
1/2 pint fresh raspberries or strawberries,
Cook sugar and 1 cup water in a saucepan, stirring constantly,
until sugar dissolves. Cool; pour into a large container. Stir in
remaining 9 cups water, lemon juice, Grenadine, and, if desired,
berries. Chill 2 hours.
Yield: 3 quarts.
