1 cup oatmeal (quick)
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1/2 cup oleo
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 pkg. yeast dissolved in 1/3 cup warm water
5 cups flour
Pour boiling water over oatmeal and oleo. Let cool to lukewarm. Add
sugar, beaten egg, yeast and salt. Stir in flour. Turn onto floured
board and knead. Let rise until doubled in size. Punch down, shape
into rolls, and let rise again. Bake in 350 degree oven until light
