GRANDMA GRAY'S LIGHT BREAD ROLLS

2 yeast cakes
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. warm water
6-7 c. sifted flour
1 Tbsp salt
1/2 c. milk
2 c. warm water
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. vegetable oil

Place yeast cakes in warm water and sugar, let bubble
(activate). In large bowl sift 6 c. flour, add salt, milk, warm
water, 2 eggs, then yeast mixture and mix well. Turn onto floured
board and knead dough (not a lot), until smooth. Pull out into
rolls place in greased pan and allow to rise 20-30 minutes. Bake
350 degrees til golden brown on top. Pull from oven and brush with melted
butter.
