2 c. flour 2 c. sugar 1 stick oleo 1/2 c. oil 1 c. water 4 Tbsp.cocoa 1/2 c buttermilk 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. baking soda 2 eggs slightly beaten Sift flour and sugar together in a large bowl. Mix oleo, oil, water, and cocoa in a pan and bring to a boil. Add boiled mixture to flour and sugar. Then add and mix together buttermilk, vanilla, baking soda, and eggs. Bake in sheet cake pan at 350 degrees until toothpick comes out clean. Cool and frost while cake is still warn. Icing: 1 stick butter 1/3 c. milk 4 Tbsp. cocoa 1 box powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional) Mix butter, milk, and cocoa in a pan. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts; beat well. Spread over warm cake.
