1 c. soft margarine or butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring 1 c. sour cream 2 c. flour 3 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 8 oz. cranberry sauce 1/2 c. sliced almonds Glaze: 1 c. powdered sugar 1 Tbsp. milk 1/2 tsp. vanilla Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs, almond flavoring, and sour cream, then mix. Sift dry ingredients, then add them to batter and mix well. Spread in 13x9 pan. drop small amounts of cranberry sauce all over top of batter (it won't cover perfectly). Sprinkle almonds on top of that. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until done. Mix ingredients for glaze, and when cake is cool, drizzle it with this glaze.
