6 apples peeled, cored, and sliced 1/2 c. sugar sprinkle of cinnamon 8 oz. yellow cake mix (1/2 of a box mix) 1/4 cu. melted butter or margarine Place apples in crock in crock-pot. Pour cake mix over apples. Drizzle melted butter on cake mix. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on top. Cook on low for 1 1/2 to 2 hours until apples are soft. Serve warm.
