2 packages (3 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
3 c. confectioner sugar
6 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl; mix until well blended.
Frost cooled Carrot Cake. Sprinkle with nuts. Store in refrigerator.
