2 c. flour
1 c. chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. butter, softened
2 c. Quick Oats
12 oz. caramel ice cream topping
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Mix together dry ingredients and butter. Press 1/2 of mixture in a
9x13 greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove from
oven and sprinkle on chocolate chips, caramel and nuts. Add other
1/2 of dry mixture. Bake 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes.
Refrigerate for at least an hour after cooling. Serve cold.
