1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 c. evaporated milk (divided in half)
3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter, melted
1 (14 oz.) pkg. Kraft caramels
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Mix cake mix, 1/2 cup evaporated milk and the melted butter
together. Spread 1/2 of batter into a greased and floured 9 x 13
pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. Melt caramels in remaining 1/2
cup evaporated milk. Pour over partially baked batter. Sprinkle
chocolate chips and chopped pecans over top of caramels. Drop
remaining batter in spoonfuls over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
