1/2 c. shortening (half margarine)
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
Roll dough into 1 1/2 inch balls, 3 inches apart, on lightly
greased baking sheet. Flatten criss cross style with fork dipped
in flour or sugar. Bake 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees.
