1 bunch asparagus 1 1/2 lbs. lamb or beef, cubed 1/2 cup chopped parsley 1/2 lemon 1 cup oil 3 cups water Salt and pepper to taste In saucepan, brown meat in oil. Add parsley, salt, pepper and water. Cover and simmer for one hour. Wash and cut asparagus in l inch pieces. Add asparagus to meat mixture and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes. Add juice of lemon and cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Serve over rice (Rooz bi Shireeyee). Serves: 3-4.
