1 lb. lamb or beef, cubed
2 Tbsp. butter or oil
1 onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
l lb. fava beans
1 cup water
Salt and pepper to taste
Brown meat in butter or oil. Add onion and garlic. Simmer on
very low flame. Add water and beans. Season to taste. Cover and
cook about 20 minutes. Serves: 4.
