2 cups cooked beets or 1 can beets
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 cup water from beets
1/2 cup vinegar (white)
1/2 tsp. salt
Combine sugar and cornstarch and add water from beets together with
the vinegar and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until
thick and smooth. Add beets and cook over low heat about 20 minutes.
