2 lbs. green beans
1 large onion, diced
1/2 cup oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
Juice of 1 lemon
String, cut and wash green beans. In a large saucepan, sauté the
onion in oil. Add green beans, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer
over low heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add lemon juice
and serve hot or cold.
