1/3 cup yansoon
2 to 3 small pieces whole ginger
3 sticks koulanjan (broken in small pieces)
4 cinnamon sticks (whole)

Place all ingredients in kettle and boil for 30 minutes or longer to
reach color desired. Serve hot with sugar and English walnuts.
