1C Shortening 1C Brown Sugar (firmly packed) 1/2C Granulated Sugar 2t Vanilla 2 Eggs 2 1/4C Flour 1t Baking Soda 1t Salt 12 Oz M&M's Blend shortening and sugars in a large bowl. Beat in vanilla and eggs. Sift remaining dry ingredients together; add to sugar-egg mixture, blending well. Stir in 1/2 cup of candies. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet'; decorate tops with remaining candies. Bake in oven at 375 degrees for 10 minutes, or till golden brown. Remove cookies with spatula to wire racks; cool completely. Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
