1 Bottle Karo Syrup (light or dark)
2 Pint Sorgham Molasses (12 oz bottle)
2T Cinnamon (rounded)
1/2C Cold Water
1T Shortening (rounded)
1/2Pint Sour Cream
1 1/2T Vinegar
1 Pint Chopped Nuts
Bring to a boil until dissolved sugar, syrup, molasses, cinnamon,
cloves and nutmeg. Remove from heat. Add water and shortening and
mix. Add remaining ingredients. Roll out and cut into squares.
Bake at 450 degrees for 9 minutes. Frost with mixture of Karo thinned
