2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 c. commercial eggnog
1/2 c. candied cherries
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. Combine
eggs, sugar and butter in a large mixing bowl. Beat well. Add
flour mixture alternately with eggnog, beginning and ending with
flour mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour batter into a
greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees
for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center
comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove to wire rack and
cool completely. Yield: 1 loaf.
