POPPY SEED BREAD

(Makes 2 Loaves)

3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
1 1/3 cooking oil
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1 to 2 Tbsp. poppy seeds
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Beat all ingredients together for 2 minutes. Pour mixture
into greased and floured bread pans. Bake in a preheated oven at
350 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes.

Glaze:
1 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. orange juice concentrate or lemon
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. melted butter

Mix all together and heat slowly. Drizzle over bread while
still warm.
