Cream together shortening, brown sugar and eggs until light
and fluffy. Stir in milk. Sift together dry ingredients and stir
into creamed mixture. Stir in rolled oats and raisins. Drop from
tablespoon 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Cool slightly
and remove from pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes. Makes 5 to 10
