1/2 c. butter 1 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 3/4 c. pumpkin 2 3/4 c. flour 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. soda 1/4 tsp. ginger 1/2 c. chopped pecans 1/2 c. margarine or shortening 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 1 Tbsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. golden raisins Cream butters and brown sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Add pumpkin and vanilla. Mix flour and spices and add to pumpkin mixture. Stir in raisins and nuts. Drop heaping teaspoons on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Icing: 1/3 c. butter 1/4 c. milk 1 c. brown sugar Mix together and on low heat, beat in 1 1/2 cups or more confectioners sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
