1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar 1 egg 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. soda 1/4 tsp. salt Cream butter and sugar, beating well at medium speed. Add egg and lemon juice and beat until smooth. Combine flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture and beat until smooth. Shape dough into two 12-inch rolls. Wrap in wax paper and chill at least 2 hours. Unwrap rolls and cut into slices. Place slices on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool slightly on cookie sheet. Dip into frosting and place on rack to cool. Frosting: 4 Tbsp. lemon juice 4 Tbsp. butter 1 c. powdered sugar Melt butter. Combine with lemon juice and sugar.
