1 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 3 Tbsp. Crisco 1/2 c. real butter 1 beaten egg 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. milk Mix dry ingredients. Cut in butter and add milk and egg. In 9 x 9-inch pan, put 3 cups cut up peaches in pan. Add 1/2 cup sugar or 1/2 cup brown sugar with 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Lightly sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for 25 minutes in a 400 degrees preheated oven. Variety: Add 1/2 cup cranberries and 1/2 cup cranberry juice.
